Whereas Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people; and

Whereas the primary role of Israel and the Jewish Agency is to facilitate the ingathering of the exiles; and

Whereas the over 1000 Bnai Menashe who have already immigrated to Israel have adjusted and been fully absorbed into Israeli society; and

Whereas the approximately 5000 Bnai Menashe remaining in India long to live in Israel as part of the Jewish people;

Therefore be it resolved that the Jewish Agency strongly urges the Government of Israel to remove obstacles in facilitating and completing the Aliyah of the Bnai Menashe community within the next 5 years.
