Alan H. Silberman is a partner in Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal, LLP, a U.S. National lLw firm and Chair emeritus of its Antitrust, Marketing Practice, Franchise/Distribution Group. He received his legal education at the Yale Law School and has more than 40 years’ experience in antitrust and franchising litigation, counseling and related transactional representation.
He is a Director and member of the Executive Committee of Lex Mundi, a worldwide association of 160+ law firms, a member of the Bureau of National Affairs’ Antitrust and Trade Regulation Advisory Board, and frequent speaker on antitrust topics relating to marketing, distribution, franchising, litigation at various national and international programs and seminars. He also served previously as Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law.
He is currently President of the World Council of Conservative/Masorti Synagogues, a member of the World Zionist Organization Zionist General Council and a member of the Presidium of the General Council. He previously served as President of the National Ramah Commission, Inc. of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, which coordinates the operation of Camps Ramah and is the Chair of the National Ramah Commission Board of Trustees.
