A delegation from the Keren Hayesod organization in Milan, called Dor Hahemshech (the generation of continuity), arrived for a visit to Jewish Agency centers in Israel.

On Sunday, August 17, a 20 member delegation from Milan, Italy, visited the Jewish Agency Abba Houshi Absorption Center in Haifa and the Ayalim non-profit organization in Akko.

While at the absorption center, the delegation received an overview of the Kedma program, visited the ulpan classes, and met with graduates of the program including a few students attending Haifa University.

The delegation visited one of the homes in the old city of Akko that have been refurbished by the Ayalim non-profit organization. They were impressed by the turnabout that has occurred in the entire vicinity and the amicable relations established between the students and the Arab residents of the neighborhood.

The delegation was composed primarily of young couples and their children. We thank the children (and their parents) for their exemplary behavior during the entire course of the tours.
