Daniel Liwerant is a former Chairman of the World Board of Trustees of Keren Hayesod and of Keren Hayesod Mexico.  He was previously a member of the Jewish Agency’s Joint Authority for Jewish Zionist Education, of the governing council of the Education Authority (Reshut Hajinuj) in Mexico and of the Board of Directors of Beit Hatefutsoth.  He currently serves on the Board of Trustees and the World Campaign Cabinet of Keren Hayesod. 

Born in Mexico, Daniel Liwerant spent several years in Israel during the 1960s.  He earned a law degree from the Hebrew University before returning to Mexico in 1968.  He is currently CEO of the “K Group”.

A member of the Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors since October 1994, he is a former Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. He is a member of the Jewish Agency Executive.
