Yaakov Neeman is senior partner at the Tel Aviv law firm of Herzog, Fox & Neeman. He served as Justice Minster in 1996 and as Minister of Finance from 1997 until 1998. He was Director General of the Ministry of Finance from 1979 to 1981.
Yaakov Neeman has sat on numerous commissions and public committees. He currently serves as Chairman of the Executive Committee of Bar-Ilan University.
He holds a law degree from the Hebrew University and a masters and doctorate from New York University Law School. An expert in corporate law and taxation, Yaakov Neeman taught at Bar-Ilan University for five years. He has been a visiting professor at several universities both in Israel and the United States. He has been a member of the Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors since June 2002. He is a member of the Jewish Agency’s Executive and serves as Co-Chair of the Resource Development Committee.
